Speed of shipping was great, shipped on Friday and arrived on Monday. Hookup was abit of a chore, 4days. I am not holding that against you seeing as how I am new to Ubuntu and pcDuino. After watching the youtube videos over and over I have the system up and running and am typing this review with my new system. Looking forward to exploring the world of micro computers/Arduino. Thank you for the fast service.
Caveat Emptor: Fantastic screen for the money...

I recommend this screen to one who is willing to do much leg work. Skills in Linux, a PC machine of some sort (VM, Physical) Higher Intermediate level command line knowledge and a general open source engineering type of mentality. Currently the state of support for arm kernels with the LVDS module is limited (unless you compile one yourself). Obviously there is the lubuntu LVDS build from pcduino, but, that really is a just a stable start and much more is possible. (Assuming you are using this screen with the pcDuino3). Though this is the ground level as far as price and availability for low cost, LVDS, 1024x600 it's also incredible. For something like the cost of a phone bill one can cobble together a quite small and powerful little computer, which is capable of so much more, being completely open and all.

I got this to use with android on my pcDuino3 and it works very well, screen is muchore reactive than many others I've tried on other devices. I did not receive jumper cables with my order though but I did manage to rig it up by soldering in my own cables to an Arduino prototyping shield for easy connectivity. I do wish the ribon cable to the pcDuino was a bit longer but overall everything works very smoothly.
This 7" LVDS LCD screen is not standard size

I had availability and delivery issues and recent Chinese Holiday caused excessive delivery delays too long to wait . Using this LVDS screen on the PcDuino V3 was quite an experience. The standard image on PcDuino V3 did not support this. You must pick either the image that supports the LVDS or the HDMI output. You can't use both. Too many wires connected to Arduino pins eliminate to use this screen with any shields. Only documentation and pictures are available from Linksprite website and pictures are not clear and table in Wiki document is not clear. Once I discovered that CSI interface cable on screen was not installed in its connector from factory correct I was able to get this to work. This 7" screen is dimensional larger than another 7" LCD screen that I have that has a touch screen. Be careful on how you wire to the PcDuino V3. I am not using now as planned due to limitations of PcDuino V3 may repurpose elsewhere
